Where It All Began…

I have always had a love for art growing up. However, I ended up pursuing a career in education. My husband and I love to cook. So much so that we even started a food page on Instagram for it called Savor It with the Stones. I wanted to get my husband a custom engraved butcher block with our logo on it as a surprise present and thought to myself, “I could probably just make this”. I bought a cheap wood burning pen, found an amazing butcher block to use, created a design, and posted the final result on my social media.

I soon started burning custom cutting boards and serving boards for friends and family as a hobby. Little did I know that this hobby would soon turn in to a full blown side hustle.

Four months later, I had to invest in a laser engraver to keep up with orders. I also bought a rotary attachment to engrave stainless steel cups and tumblers.

Today…

My husband has always suggested I start using resin. Summer of 2022, I decided to take his advice and I bought my first small resin kit. After many hours of trial and error, I was HOOKED. Resin art has since become my passion. Living in Florida, the beach is my go-to happy place. I love to make layers of ocean waves so other people can escape to this happy place too!
